Roof Maintenance We will return every year and carry out our 35-point roof inspection. If any issues are found you will be notified immediately and a quote to fix the problem will be automatically sent to you. *During our inspection your gutters and downpipes will be cleared. Leak Finding and Solving One thing that we take pride in and is backed by our clients’ own statements, is locating and solving tricky leaks. Some leaks originate from the most unlikely locations and often come from more than one place. Our approach of thinking outside the box has earned us a reputation for finding the causes of leaks that none before us have been able to find. So, before you throw the towel in, give us a try! Maintenance Rota This is a great way to prevent any nasty surprises. For your car to work properly you get it checked every year, so why do people think that a roof is any different? It needs looking after, it needs checking regularly. For new houses every two to three years would suffice but anything over 20 years needs annual checks. The difference between the cost of regular checks compared to what you’d pay for the damage from a neglected roof, could be a two week holiday in the Maldives! Difficult Access Specialists In most cases your standard roof jobs such as new ridge tiles, chimney pointing, chimney reconstruction, flat roof fittings and lots more can be carried out WITHOUT scaffolding. We are highly experienced in high-risk situations, we use climbing harnesses, ropes and tool ties that ensure that our team members and people around us are always safe. Emergency Callouts We take damaged roofs that are causing “active leaks” very seriously. We understand the stress that they can cause and the damage they create so we will always, whether you’re a new client or not, prioritise an active leak. 12 hours would be the maximum time you’d have to wait, we will always try to get to you ASAP. Gutters Cleared & Downpipes Tested Your gutters will always get filled with something, leaves, moss, the grainy stuff that comes off your tiles, you won’t know your gutters are blocked until they start to over-flow. Don’t be fooled by gutter covers and “hedgehogs”, they don’t work! (See our “free advice” section for details on this). Our periodic gutter cleaning service will ensure that your gutters are free of debris to allow water to flow as it should and to where it should! We also test your downpipes to ensure that they are not blocked and repair where and if necessary. Minor & Major Works All of our leak detection skills, our maintenance services and all manner of minor roof work skills have stemmed from years of experience in the roofing sector. Our team is qualified and experienced enough to carry out changing a single roof tile to a complete re-roof of a large multi-storey building. We are skilled at felt roofing, EPDM rubber roofing and fibreglass for all flat and low-pitched roofs, as well as all types of tiles and slates for pitched roofs.
